To all CDL Drivers

CDL Companies is proud to announce our new recruiting service. The driver shortage is coming back and you are in demand. Several of our customers have requested that we start looking for qualified drivers. We have a created a one stop resource for the driver and for our customers. There is no charge to you. We do not ask for a bunch of personal information. Please fill out the contact form if you meet the basic qualifications below.

• Must be at least 23 years of age
• Must have 1 year recent applicable tractor/trailer experience.
• Must have held a valid U.S. driver’s license for the past 36 months
• Must possess or obtain a valid Class A CDL from their state of residence.
• No DUI’s in the last 5 years. No DUI’s in a commercial motor vehicle of any class ever. No more than one DUI lifetime.
• No refusals of a drug or alcohol test in a motor vehicle.
• No Reckless or Careless driving convictions in the last 5 years.
• No more than 2 moving violations in the last 2 years, no more that 3 in the last 3 years.
• No serious moving violation in the last 36 months:
  • Speed 15 mph or more over posted
  • Improper or erratic lane changes
  • Following too close
  • Driving a CMV without a CDL
  • Driving a CMV without CDL in possession
  • Driving a CMV without the proper class CDL
  • Leaving the scene of an accident
• No rollover accidents ever.
• No pending felony charges or convictions in the last 10 years.
• No pending misdemeanor charges.
• No convictions of any kind in the last 10 years for possession, sale, or transfer of narcotic drugs, amphetamines, or illegal substance.
• Must pass a Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) physical and drug screen. If an applicant requests a split specimen sample to be tested following a positive result, the cost associated with the additional test is the responsibility of the applicant.
• Must pass Ergonomics testing to show capability of performing the essential functions of the position.
